So how to use air blowing correctly during the optical fiber laser welding operation?

In laser welding, shielding gas will interfere with the kneading and forming of butt weld, the product quality of butt weld, the melting depth and width of butt weld. In most cases, blowing shielding gas will form sufficient interference effect on butt weld, but it may also bring bad effect.

1. Reasonable blowing of shielding gas will effectively protect the butt weld pool from shrinkage and even oxidation;

2. Reasonable blowing of shielding gas can reduce the spatter formed in the process of laser welding;

3. Reasonable blowing of shielding gas can promote the symmetry and luxury of butt weld solution pool during condensation, and promote the kneading and shaping of butt weld to be symmetrical, neat and beautiful;

4. Reasonable blowing of shielding gas can effectively reduce the shielding effect of metal superheated steam plume or low-temperature plasma cloud on laser beam and expand the useful utilization rate of laser beam;

5. Reasonable blowing of shielding gas can effectively reduce the air outlet of butt weld. As long as the selection of gas type, gas pressure and blowing method is reasonable, the ideal practical effect can be achieved.
